    Venice Architecture Biennale 2018

    In Statu Quo: Structures of Negotiation is the theme of the Israeli Pavilion. It traces the complex mechanism of the ‘Status Quo’ within shared holy places in Israel-Palestine, which functions as a controversial and fragile system of coexistence.
    The office’s proposal from 1970-1972 takes part in the exhibition.

    In the morning, Tal and Erez Lotan show us around Park Hod HaSharon. For lunch, we split into teams and have a fierce cooking competition preparing Asian and Italian foods. We finish the day relaxing with beers
    after walking through Modiin’s new City Center project.

    The office’s architectural proposal is chosen as the winning alternative for the development of Lot 25.
    The project is part of the Jerusalem LRT Green Line, designed by the team of JGL (Obermeyer and Amy-Metom) for JTMT.

    The ceremony inaugurating the public wing of the campus, attended by the Prime Minister and donors, takes place during the Sukkot holiday, and the building will be open to the public in about a year.
